When you make a trade with someone what's the proper trading etiquette?

First you trust, then you send.

If you don't trust, do not send. Ask references.

I only trade with people i know .

Unless it's a person that you know and trust, the person that initiates the trade should send their package first.

If you are trading with or buying from a member of this forum, search for prior posts for the member's name. I failed to do this once and I got sucked in by a member who had exhibited bad behavior in the past. Had I done my research, I would have never dealt with him.

And this member has continued to screw with other members after my bad transaction.

Prolly better to just ask as most threads about scammers don't use people's actual names or user IDs.
