I have a Meigray Group Letang jersey/sweater w/ a serial number sewn on the back. Its from the 07-08 season in the 3rd alt blue. They only wore those jerseys ONE time in the winter classic. Letang scored a goal even in overtime. I looked at the photos from that game and my jersey doesn't have the NHL patch at the neck as shown on him and the sleeves he has on don't end in the DARK blue, only the light blue it seems. So how can it be game worn or how can I be positive? It even came w/ the RBK tags on the sleeve. The sleeves are about 4-5 inches longer than any sized 52 I own. Fight strap a little stained, about it. I know its not a fake (I have a COA too) as it has a hologram signature and all that, but would like some help if anyone has any ideas.

What number is on the Meigray tagging?

What does the COA say? Is it for the Signature or is it a Meigray LOA stating that it's game worn? I'd call Meigray and give them the serial # to check. To my knowledge the winter classic gamers did not come with RBK tags attached to the sleeves. It might be a Meigray GROOP knock off.

I think this is too... especially as it has a holo-signature... meigray doesn't do holograms on gw jerseys nowadays...

The hologram sticker is for the autograph like AJ said. If you enlarge the pic you can see a Meigray tage on the left side of the pic....this is not a game worn.

As far as the tags go, yes, but it is a dark gold color, not light like that one.

The hologram and COA are for the signature, which I believe to be real, but looks as though he did it on a fake game worn. I have another of his that has the tags and everything seems dead on as just an RBK edge. A fleury signature. What are the dimensions of a correct fight strap. I notices some are thinner than others. That could help ween out the fake(s). Thanks a lot. Also, the laces are much shorter on the Letang one. The Fleury one has much longer ones (braided lace for lack of better description).

That is his ebay id. Look and see about the other ones he has for sale. Can you spot anything to make you think the white, black and blues are fake (besides my letang-which I'm excepting as FAKE).

After looking at what he offers on ebay under that user name, none of his items hint at being game worn. They all say authentic jersey with signature and the signature is certified (COA).
I see what you mean by dark gold though...

Well, that is the only one I've seen up of his that has that game worn tag on. ALL others have the reebok/ccm logo. So I don't know if that one was an oversight (as I didn't expect to get a "game worn") but now makes me think THEY ALL ARE FAKES. One thing is that they don't have the logo at the bottom of the sleeves where 2 jerseys I got a Dick, Inc, DO. I don't know...real BS ain't it?

Seriously, if you want to be sure you get the real thing, go to Tomon. His prices on new stuff are outrageous, but at least you'll know it's good. Just do research on who played when regarding certain sets of jerseys.

I don't think Tomon's prices are any more "outrageous" than any other dealer with reguards to new stuff.
